Huge congrats to comic book legend Stan Lee (known by some in our circles here for his “Mallrats” cameo, but obviously so much more). Lee finally got what we feel is an extremely long overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame . Lee’s 88 years old and still going strong. Much respect and congratulations to him.
Spend an intimate evening with Jason Mewes as he does the live Q&A thing in Europa, Brooklyn, New York, on Friday, April 29th. General admission is for a standing room with limited seating, $20 via TicketWeb. More details to come.
Kevin and Walt’s epic Batman tale, “The Widening Gyre”, featuring one of the coolest twists we’ve ever seen in the comics world, hit #6 on the New York Times Best Seller list for Hardcover Graphic Novels this week. Well-deserved for these guys! If you’ve missed the book, now’s the perfect time to grab a copy of the entire tale, via your favorite comic shop, bookstore, or of course, the Secret Stash.
