More High Resolution “Red State” Images & Bluray Deets!

August 10, 2011 Scooped By: Brad & Chris, Banks Lee [2 Comments]
  • We’ve seen a few of them, and of course the amazing new trailer, now, Bloody Disgusting brings us new, never before seen high resolution photos from the great “Red State”. If the trailer and all you’ve seen so far haven’t sold you for some crazy reason, feast your eyes on some fresh, huge, hi-res images from the flick. They’ve also added back many of the exclusive one-sheets auctioned off for charity over the past months as well, in case you may have missed some.

Canadian Site Horror-Movies brings us, so far, the most detail on the Fall Bluray release:

      - The Making-of Red State documentary
      - Audio commentary with Kevin Smith
      - Sundance speech with introduction by Kevin Smith
      - Sundance ending
      - Deleted scenes with introduction by Kevin Smith
      - Poster gallery with introduction by Kevin Smith

It’s not a surprise, but a comforting thought to know that we’ll get to see the original ending that played in Sundance, as well as a bunch of deleted stuff, along with those always insightful and fun Kevin wraparound videos.

“Red State” takes over Canada for a week starting this Sunday, then comes back to the States for an exclusive one-week run at the New Beverly. You’ll find it on VOD services everywhere here in the US starting September 1st, and on DVD/Blruay stateside on October 18th. Kevin and the film then cross the pond for a European tour starting in September.
