Kevin’s Pilot Shoot – What We Know…

After a few crypic tweets over the past two weeks, Kevin and Jen broke the silence about the mysterious TV talk show pilot that shot earlier this week. 2011 has been an amazing year for SModCo, which now has not one but TWO pilot programs shot for networks – The previously mentioned Secret Stash pilot shot for AMC in the famous Red Bank comic book store, and now the west-coast based syndicated talker.
Four full episodes were shot on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, featuring Kevin Smith and Ralph … Read More »

Kevin Smith – Talk Show Host???

Going to where the puck’s going to be? This is it. Genius. That’s all we can say.

Okay, a little more — JoBlo is reporting that this new mystery television project that Kevin’s been hinting about will be a daily syndicated 30-minute talk show hosted by the man himself. Most syndicated talkers today are catering to a younger audience, and pair up nicely with the TMZ show that airs nightly in many markets. As the article points out, TMZ is a Warner Brothers project, so the signing and somewhat secret nature of it at the con last weekend are making more sense, too. This project, which once might have been thought of as a test run, might turn into a reality FAST.

What is the Mystery Project?

While good news for us east coasters, this is VERY early for the gang to be awake and broadcasting out west.
So what of this project? Something that has such an effect on the schedule EVERY morning has to … Read More »
