    Hey Kev and Jen,

Just listening to yesterday webcast now, “The Canadas” is correct historically. Upper Canada use to be Ontario and parts of Quebec, Lower Canada was parts of Quebec and the Maratimes. Lots of people still call us The Canadas, I havn’t checked to see if this is exactly where the term comes from, but it would seem to make sense.

Listening to new SMODCAST. Awesome to here about how everything is interconnected. Dude, you totally balled on stage, takes a lot of guts to admit that man. Keep up the good work, and keep Matt busy as well. He really has a lot to offer SMUNIVERSE. Have a good day

Hey guys, just again, amazing that I listen to you guys more than music now, and by in large your network is much more entertaining than even TV most times. Love you guys more than words can express. Love being able to listen to you every morning, and when on set working look forward to coming home to a new couple, triple, 6 pack of shows (quote tm – paul ellington).

    All my best Paul

A night of work, hung out with the guys from ‘The State’, and finished up with Per Diem and will listen to Get Jobs tomorrow. Hope all is well. Loved J. Reitman, amazing Director and never once did it enter my mind that he was just some Director’s kid who got a leg up. If you saw his short “Gulp” which was wicked, followed by his other short “In God We Trust” one could only hope to make those two films. ‘In God’ was funny, crazy, had enough of a budget and flexed it’s muscles cinematically. So cool Kev, still got your finger on the pulse, as always!

Would it be possible to get some kind of SIR programming calendar for the live feed up on the websites?

I’m finding I’m tuning in late to the live feed to catch shows I want to hear when they debut or repeat.

    Hey guys,

amazing just amazing, gotta say this is the first smodcast i actually listnen to, lol, you guys planning on heading my way, Montreal for the premiere of Red State at the Montreal Fantasia Festival tomorrow?
    Keep it up
    Peace

The Stash show was a pilot shot for AMC. If they pick it up, that’s where it will air first (in the states, anyway). You can’t watch it anywhere yet, alas.

  • Brad (author) said:

This is a great suggestion, I’ll pass it on to see if they can add it to one of the official SModcast sites. The information isn’t available anywhere official yet, but I wonder if it can be…A lot will depend how far ahead they decide the daily schedule, too.

Hey guys, LOVE PLus One: Per Diem,
Wondering if there is anyway to have the SIN BIN window larger, it seems to reside in a restricted small window :(

  • Brad (author) said:

    Thanks Tim.

We’re under a bit of a server strain at the moment, but when we have the issues resolved, the Sin Bin will open in a window that looks like the rest of the site. Same size, basically, but no more scroll bars for vertical and horizontal. This is just the best we could do at the moment to bring you the bin and not crash our little server. But it will eventually get resolved. Thanks for watching.

    Hey Brad…
You guys are doing an AMAZING job getting all this thrown together…
Now, a little poke for ya… Look into Eucalyptus for Ubuntu… Will allow you guys to take a few regular desktops and create a private cloud. You can then spread your servers and services across multiple machines, increasing your loads (hehehe) without breaking the bank.

    Check it out: http://www.ubuntu.com/business/cloud/cloudcomputing

    Eucalyptus – http://www.eucalyptus.com/

Keep up the behind-the-scenes great work!

GRIZZLE BEARS TO NEED TO PLAY DEAD AND POSSIBLY GET UP A TREE IF YOU CAN MOST GRIZZLES ARE TOO BIG TOO CLIMB. BLACK BEARS THEY SAY TO MAKE AS MUCH NOISE AND MAKE YOURSELF AS BIG AS POSSIBLE. I GO CAMPING EVERY YEAR IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND EVERY YEAR THERE HAS BEEN A BLACK BEAR IN OUR CAMP SITE. ONE YEAR A FEMALE BLACK BEAR SHOWED UP AT 2 AM AND HAD 3 CUBS WITH HER AND LITERALLY STAYED IN OUR CAMPSITE FOR 3 HOURS IN A STAND OFF WITH US AND SHE DIDNT LEAVE HER CUBS WHICH RAN UP A TREE. WE WENT TO SLEEP (DUMB) AND WHEN WE WOKE UP IN THE MORNING SHE WAS STILL THERE AND FINALLY LEFT. WE ASSESED THE DAMAGE SHE HAD DRANK 4 2 LITERS OF SODA, A GALLON OF MILK AND ORANGE JUICE AND A BAG OF CHIPS AND A LOAF OF BREAD, THEN DECIDED TO TAKE A HUGE SHIT IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR CAMP SITE THEN LEFT. SON OF A BITCH BEAR DRANK ALL OUR NON ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. LOL. BUT I LOVE CAMPING STILL

I just wanted to say, thank you Jen, Kevin, Jay, Megels, James Franco (the one that didn’t just graduate from two grades above me at NYU), yeah, I did it, I dropped a name :0). Yeah I know I’m a huge dork. Never have I had a man-crush but Sir, you spun my life in a different direction and I am on a path to finding myself. I love you all, what you give to us all on a daily basis, and if you packed it all in tomorrow, not one of us could be fucking angry. I appreciate you, we appreciate you, and I believe we are kindred spirits, I have taken a page out of your book Kevin, and I deal with shit as it comes up with co-workers and in relationships.

In short, just sending some love to your hole crew from New York University, Via, Vancouver Film School, and before that from Denmark out of my Mother’s vagine – Vagine, pronounced phonetically “vaa-jeeen”

Hugz Kisses, and naked erect hugs.

I must admit, I was sad when I first heard that Ol’e Smitty was leaving the film business but man, I am over the moon that he is so productive creating ridiculous amounts of material. Is it to make money? Yes, of course, but it’s also for the love man, nobody puts that kind of energy into something if they don’t truly love their fans.

What an amazing woman that has really made all of this possible. Look, if you a couple love each other they will be honest with one another, and nobody is perfect, hence arguments will inevitably occur, but the earnest love Jen shows Kevin by being a loyal supportive wife, artist in her own right – USA today, Co-Hosting, managing the family… I could only be so lucky to have a small portion of that in my life one day.

You bring light to my darkness, and the lessons, although many jokes are in between, having lost both my parents early on in life, are duly noted and without being too over the top, I have learned so much from you both.

As Olivia Newton-John sang, “I Honestly Love You” … & David Klein is the man for helping guide me, I love him too.

Hope for you to get this pilot up and running asap – it’s going to fucking rock.

    All my best!

An Open Letter to the lady whom was pissed ….

RE: Kev’s kindness … Kevin Smith is the most generous person with his fans on the planet. In Vancouver at the Vogue, Mr. Smith was to do a Q&A, well, they normally last 2 maybe 3 hours if you’re lucky… 5+ hours later Mr. Smith was still making Vancuverrites love him even more if that is possible.

I am not going to get militant about whomever didn’t get access to Mr. Smith but, listen, no entertainer has ever given anyone complete access to their life like Mr. Smith and I think that when it’s all said and done, his importance on how to build a life/career will be one of the most unique and charming stories in itself and I would be more than happy to write that screenplay if my gray and white hairs have earned me the right to create a bio of Mr. Smith’s life.

Now, sorry you had to travel and Kevin didn’t have time to see you, shit fucking happens, the fact that he corresponded with you should delight you as he is approached by thousands every day.

See any show and you would probably stand a good chance of getting a wuick chat, and he is more than friendly.

Even if Kevin told me I was an asshole, I would still love him for the access, honesty, funny, and constant love and devotion he shows his family and his fans.

I am totally in the bag for Kevin Smith, J-Mewes and my main man David Klein.

    Love
